I've been a bit ill this past week so I've been avoiding the chilly outdoors in order to speed up the getting-better process!
Today I ventured out into the coldness (though should have worn my gloves hence the hands shoved deeply into the pockets!). This camel coat has been my absolute winter staple - the colour and cut is so classic and its luxuriousness is fueled by soft cashmere..mmm..
what I want to be wearing right.now (and in a few months with bare feet and sand sifting through my toes...), and I'd probably chuck on my trusty trilby and a pair of dark sunnies too, if only the weather would warrant it.
love the splash of neon in this jumper by Wang, a great way to transition into some of the S/S trends without sacrificing warmth (it is still January after all!).
jumper - Alexander Wang
shorts - runaway dreams vintage customised

belt - kurt geiger
boots - Finsk x Urban Outfitters (check out the collection here)
a relaxy afternoon at my boyf's - wrapped up warm as poss as I'm desperately trying to get rid of my horrible sniffy cold, AND decided to wear jeans for once as I havn't worn jeans in absolutely yonks!
yesterdays was a simple outfit, with a pop of deep red lips and clutch.
Got these awesome kurtgeigers yesterday that I've had my eye on for AGES, but at 195 could never justify them! But I found them on eBay and won them for about 40quid - they arrived new and unworn, with dustbag, in the box!
new addition to my shoe family. decided to keep these ones - I'm wearing them now with tights to toughen up dresses and black skinnies, and will hopefully be wearing them in summer with denim cutoffs and a tank top. love.
Despite the crazy winds at the moment, we managed to snap a few shots outside (experimenting with the monochrome camera feature...), whilst nipping out for some fruit and veg from the local stalls around the corner
I absolutely LOVE this little vintage dress by One Vintage, I could live in it all summer (and would literally have to as I would have to sell my entire wardrobe and much more to be able to afford it! haha).
Dressed down with grungy boots and a fedora for day time, its the perfect festival chic look (coachella anyone!? yes please!), but can also be transformed with a faux fur and sky high sandals for cocktails and special events (I can see one of the Olsen's looking amazing in it!)

my oh-so-kind brother got me a tripod for Christmas this year (thanks Sam!), so I took it out for a test run this morning as the sun was shining on the first day of 2012! A bit of a crisp morning, but this faux fur gilet kept me snuggly
